What is NextStep6?

For our "Working in the Creative Media II Unit" we received a brief to organise a media employability conference for our fellow students. In the light of the current pandemic and its impact on the job marketing, the focus of the conference was supposed to lie on how to adapt to the new demands on media jobs and make yourself more employable in a post-covid world. 

My group was allocated the organisation of Wednesday the 13th of January, which is the day that industry speakers are giving talks.

Our tasks were to:

1) Organise guest speakers

2) Market our conference day

3) Create and manage the official conference website

​

On this website I am documenting the process consisting of the preparation, the event itself and a post-event reflection.
